How Do We Build A Future New York for Current New Yorkers?
Major elements of the de Blasio Administration’s agenda have raised the question of how to make policy that moves the city forward, but doesn’t do so at the expense of the people who are most vulnerable. This is true about the housing agenda, as the public debate heats up on zoning and displacement questions of the moment, as well as the Administration’s economic development agenda, which raises issues of how the City will balance supporting expanding a high-tech employment sectors without undermining other equitable economic development and neighborhood goals. This panel will grapple with the neighborhood and city-wide issues.
